Summer Holidays - Part I - Seattle Area

On Saturday the 17th, we headed off for a much anticipated trip down to the Oregon Coast. We had a whole 17 days stretching ahead of us - not much by Swedish standards but still a nice long summer vacation by Canadian standards.

Our first stop was Dash Point State Park for a night of camping near the beach. We decided against a night in the city because we had only one evening and a toddler to put to bed. Really no time to explore the city and so it was much better to sit around a campfire after Anna had gone to bed.


The evening light on the beach was so beautiful, and Anna was excited at the sight of wa-wa. She headed straight in.
