It's nearly a month ago now, but not all that long ago we spent the weekend in Nanaimo celebrating both dad and Isabelle's birthday's. They had separate parties, as dad wasn't into sharing Isabelle's Minnie Mouse cake.

The Johansson juniors spent the evening with us at mom and dad's, and Anna got reacquainted with her little cousin Kiki (Annika).
And I took the chance at a photo op...
but, let's just say that the group shot was a little hard to get to work...
On Sunday we headed up to Parksville beach for some sun, sand and playing in the water, before heading back home.
