My birthday fell on Labour Day weekend this year, and Patrik and I celebrated by taking a trip down to Seattle, with a one night stop in Bellingham. It was a luxurious weekend of eating out, going for walks, taking in some touristy sights, and spending a day at the Bumbershoot Festival in Seattle. Very nice.
Rice Lake Hike
Patrik and Curt took the kids up for a wee hike to Rice Lake on a rainy September day. Anna was one worn out little girl when she got home...
Anna's Third Birthday
We had the open houses for our house sale on Anna's birthday this year, so we headed over to Vancouver Island to spend her birthday with family. It was one of the last hot weekends of summer, and a last opportunity for swimming and running around barefoot.
Talia's Birthday
Anna's best friend Talia has her birthday a couple of weeks after Anna, and she celebrated with her friends with some train trips in the park, and cake of course.
Birthday Weekend #2: Protection Island
I was spoiled this year with two weekend celebrations of my birthday. This second one was spent with good girlfriends out on Protection Island. Sweet!
