The first few days

Well, the whole family has managed the time shift now, and we're managing to sleep through the night. Yahoo! The first few nights, Anna decided that it was morning at 11:30 PM, and because she decided it was morning, her mom and dad were forced to call it morning too. The first night was at the airport when we had taken into an airport hotel. That night Patrik walked around the airport with her in the stroller, and he now knows Arlanda like the back of his hand. The second night it was my turn. We were up in Lit by then, and so we went for a walk into town and went on the swings at the school, etc. It doesn't help that it is light 24 hours a day here, confirming for Anna that it is morning at 11:30. But, on the third night we decided to teach her that it was in fact night and we made her stay in bed. It took an hour or so but she got the message and has been sleeping through the night since then. Phew!''

We've had a lot of fun the past few days. Malin and family came out to Lit on Saturday and stayed over night. Both days we headed down to the river and went waterskiing and tubing.

Cafe Bua was open in the backyard one afternoon, with fruit salad on the menu. We all sat outside and enjoyed the sun and each others company.

And evening baths are a lot of fun here, with a very different kind of bathtub and most importantly, WAY MORE bath toys.

And in between the arms of farmor, farfar, and all of the others, I'm happy to get my cuddles in with Anna here and there as well...
