More needles

How I dread these days when I have to take Anna in for her vaccination shots. She cries, I cry and then we're just thankful that it's a couple of months before the next set of shots. Well, today Anna was amazing. Not a single tear with her vaccination. Unfortunately, I also had to take her in for some blood work, which meant another needle. Because she's so chubby, they had a hard time finding the vein in her arm, and so it took longer than it had to. Not nice. But, she was smiling and happy again a very short time afterwards. Relief...


We had a visit with Kim and Lucas this week, as they were in town while Tom was at a conference. We went to Stanley Park and played with the kids for a while, and then headed to Kim's hotel when the weather turned on us. It was great to catch up!
